It was Marie's birthday on Wednesday, and I forgot to write her. What kind of a faithful Taurian and I anyway? Gesh Capesh. To one of my favorite people in the world:
Marie, I love you. I miss you. Come back to us. (Though if you don't, I understand. Brown rice isn't the hottest thing around these parts.) Thank you for being full of cool ideas, always ready to do something fun or challenging, always up for good food, and so completely understanding. You are such a hard worker and a good example of putting your whole heart into everything you do. Thanks for being a friend..even though I'm sure you wanted to scream at me a few times for doing outrageous things, I am amazed at your patience.
If I turn out like you when I'm 28(or is it 29?, shucks.) I won't be so displeased after all.

Good Eats.

Okay, so if you're looking for someone who knows how to cook, is hilarious to watch, and is a bit of an Essex dreamboat, check out Jamie Oliver.

On Monday I spent some time watching his videos, and getting extremely hungry...I was sick in bed and couldn't do much, but I was really impressed with his style of cooking. Pretty basic and quick, but his ingredients come out looking amazing. He's been around for ages, but I just discovered, quite gleefully, his mad skills.
The other night I had the whole family watching a episode with me. Must check out.

In other news: I can't think of anything that I want to eat more than Vietnamese Pho.

Need a good read.

I need a book. A good book. Something that is pretty classic and that I or someone know is good. I don't want to waste hours reading something that I find is trash in the end. I'm going to need to write something on it when I'm done, be it a review or report.
All you who have read something you feel is interesting and good literature...gimme a holler.
